English teabowl and saucer attributed to Keeling, circa 1790. It is decorated with the blue rock pattern and is pattern number 233 in the popular Chinoisserie style. Excellent condition with no chips, frits, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Saucer is about 5-1/4" across; cup is about 3-1/4". Insured shipping at cost.

Unusual c 1780-1790 Derby Imari plate with overglaze enamels depicting a naive notion of what Japanese Imari should look like. Two sets of blue branches with chestnuts, blue and green leaves, all outlined in gilt. Derby seems to have copied several mid Edo patterns c 1750. In the center, a pair of scrolling branches with reddish brown chestnuts attached. Molded plate has a scalloped edge and was supported in the kiln by three small spurs, which have left their marks under the rim...
