A fine wireless cloisonné silver rimmed box of rectangular form decorated with a classic Japanese sansui landscape. The interior fitted with pale blue silk brocade. Although the box is not apparently marked it is by Ando Yubei and dates to the late Meji to early Taisho period circa 1890-1920; the mark is probably located beneath the original silk brocade lining.
