Set of Five Early 18th C. Imari Cups
Set of five matching Imari cups dating to the first quarter of the 18th century. Perfect, original condition save normal wear to gilt on the rims. No chips, frits, cracks, hairlines or repairs. About 3.125" (8cm) at widest point x 2.75" (7cm) high. Decorated in the Imari palette with underglaze cobalt blue, overglaze iron red, colloidal gold (pink wash) and gilt, which seems to be 100% intact save normal wear at the rim. It's rare to find a complete set of these in near-pristine condition. Additional images on request. Insured shipping at cost.
