A scalloped rimmed Arita dish made for the domestic market sketchily decorated in characteristic style with a gobenka motif to the centre of the dish and a narrow border battern of Yukiwa, snow flake shaped reserves containing snow covered grasses set against a dense hagi-karakusa ground. The reverse painted with a lotus karakusa border. An old hairline crack extends from the rim into the centre of the dish; it is otherwise in good condition with no further cracks, chips or restoration. The dish measures 18.6cm or 7.37 inches in diameter. Shipping at Cost
