The central mikomi decorated with a sansui motif of a figure punting a sampan across a lake against a Mountainous background and rocky foreground, surrounded by a dense ground of bamboo fronds inset with Pine and Prunus boughs. The reverse decorated with a classic continuous lotus scroll, karakusa, border and the auspicious four character “fukki cho sun”, signifying a wish for riches and a long life. The dish is in good condition, but for a small chip to the lobed rim, please see images. Dating early 18th century circa 1700-40. The dish is 7.48 inches in diameter. Shipping at Cost. $130
