A very nice quality Koto-yaki blue and white “ko sometsuke” style porcelain dish or mukuzuke in the form of a Gunbai uchiwa, war fan, decorated in underglaze blue with a pair of Chinese five toed dragons framed by narrow Kikku kara kusa, stylised Chrysanthemum brocade bands with a fuchi beni, brown glazed rim. The reverse decorated with auspicious stylised Lotus and Peaches. A two character mark for the Koto kiln painted within the foot-ring. Dating probably late Edo. The dish measures approximately 17.5cms in length, and are 13.2cm wide and stand 4cm high, and is in very good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration. Shipping at Cost £80 - $140
