A Ko Imari Arita tea bowl and saucers decorated with a Lotus arabesque karakusa pattern in underglaze blue incorporating auspicious Lotus and Aoi. The tea bowls date to the Genroku Kyoho periods. Blue and white tea bowls tend to be both earlier and rarer than their coloured counterparts. The tea bowl measures 6cm or 2.5 inches in diameter and is 3.5cms, approximately 1.375 inches in height. The accompanying saucer measures 10cms in diameter or just under 4 inches in diameter, and is in excellent condition. Shipping at Cost.
