A large soba choku decorated with a motif of Chrysanthemum and bamboo trellis in a reserve and flowering apricot, ume, prunus. The base with a stylised band of lotus leaves, and the interior with an auspicious gobenka, an auspicious flower of five petals to the interior and diaper band to the rim. The soba choku dates to between 1740 and 1760. It measures 9.2cm in diameter and stands 7.2cm high. It is in good condition with no cracks, chips or restoration some wear to the gilding commensurate with its age. Shipping at Cost.
