Rare Late Ming Kraak Style Bowl - c. 1610-1625

Late Ming shallow bowl in the Kraak style, c. 1610-1625. Border I with type b molding of double-tiered scallops. The medallion features an eagle on a rock. About 8" (20cm) x 1.25" (3cm). Chatter marks and kiln grit to the reverse. A fine one-inch hairline to the rim, a barely discernible, even finer one-inch hairline in the cavetto and a shallow chip inside the foot rim but no restoration.
