New Hall Coffee Can & Saucer, c. 1795
Translucent hard paste unmarked New Hall, pattern 173, coffee can and saucer, c. 1795, having a shaped pink hatched border sprouting floral sprigs with a dotted wavy line. The center of the saucer is painted with a large rose and three leaves. Perfect condition save faint 1/2" glaze line solely to the underside of the saucer. Cup is 2-3/8" H x 2-1/2" W. Diameter of saucer is about 5-1/4". Please see New Hall & Its Imitators, David Holgate, Faber (1971). Insured shipping at cost.
