Mid 18th century, c. 1760, Arita Imari sake pot. Pristine condition: No chips, frits, cracks, hairlines or repairs. About 7" (17.8cm) W x 7.25" (18.4cm) H, the body decorated with underglaze blue chrysanthemums, peonies and foliage behind a rustic fence and meandering tako-karakusa on rim, lid and handle.
