Rare vintage Marget de Taxco sterling Cornflower choker necklace. Made in Taxco Mexico circa 1950-60's by Margo van Voorhies Carr. Showcased in various reference books. The necklace has a wearable length of about 14-3/4 inches x 3/4 wide at its widest. Marked Sterling Made in Mexico, circling an old assay eagle 16, and marked Margot de Taxco. Weight 92.7 g. Secure push clasp. Nice age patina.
Matching Cornflower Pendant/pin. The pendant loop is on a swivel so it can rotate freely. However the loop appears to have been cut or broken to remove it from the necklace. Instead it looks to have been worn as a pin. Can be added back to the necklace easily, though a different bale might be a good idea so it can be used either way as desired.
