Be Sure to See Our Impressive Collection of Vintage Designer Silver Jewelry! Both ANDREAS MIKKELSEN and OVE WENDT spent part of their careers as noted designers for Georg Jensen. This beautiful, vintage, Danish sterling silver cuff was designed by Ove Wendt (born 1907), who maintained his own workshop beginning 1959, and who worked with Andreas Mikkelsen from 1970 to 1978. The bracelet is convex in shape, with ends of a subtle, modernist design. The outside measures 6-3/4 inches with an additional 1-1/8 inch opening. The interior measures 2-3/6 inches across and 2 inches front to back. The width is 1-3/16 inches at the center. Weight is a substantial. Condition is very good, with normal light age scratches that the new owner could buff if desired. Hallmarks include the mark of Andreas Mikkelsen - " A.MIK ", " DENMARK ", " 925S ", " DESIGN ", and the stylized " OW " mark of Ove Wendt. |
