Rare vintage Margot de Taxco sterling necklace, bracelet and extentions set. Very well known design by Margot van Voorhies Carr circa 1940's of overlapping links that swivel on central rivets. The pieces are sterling silver, with alternating copper enameled links. There are shiney and dull/worn copper/bronze colored enamel with black color in the recesses and in spots throughout the links to make it look "antiqued". IF there is any wear, it is about impossible to tell and really wouldn't matter with this technique. This set is very versatile in that one of the two bracelets is made of two sections that can be used to extend the length of the necklace or attach to the other bracelet to make a choker. Ultimately any of the 4 pieces can attach to one another via a simple hook clasp. The necklace measures 16 3/4 x 3/4 inches. The bracelets 7 x 3/4, with one braceley being comprised of a 4" and 3" section. All pieces but 4" extention are marked Sterling, Made in Mexico, Margot de Taxco, 5102. There are safety chain loops on both ends of the braclet, and on one end of each of the extentions.
