Strong vintage rendition of Margot de Taxco 's famous Cornflower bracelet. This was made circa 1960-70's by well known and respected maker Alfredo Villisana. Nice dark age patina (much darker than pictured)that can be buffed to a desired shine on he high points to add more dimension. The wearable length measures about 6 1/2 inches inside circumference x 3 1/2 inches wide in front tapering to 1 inch in the rear. It has a good strong hinge. Marked Taxco, Hencho en Mexico, "AV" in center of the circular mark having Sterling, 925, Villisana. * NOTE: The pictures are of a previous bracelet that we had. The one being sold here is exactly the same except is has a darker age patina. |
