Be Sure to See Our Impressive Collection of Taxco, Danish, Arts and Crafts and Other Vintage Silver Jewelry! Very nice, old Georg Jensen swans bracelet. This is an early rendition circa 1933 of his classic naturalistic design of alternating swans and foliage. The bracelet measures a generous closed length of 7 1/2 inches x 3/4 wide. It has the old GJ in a box mark, 42, Denmark, and the old 830S silver mark which is less than 925 modern sterling silver. The pattern shows uniform wear from age, and has a nice soft patina. The only real flaw is that one small connector loop has been replaced with a round stock that does not match the others (see last 2 photos). It is a simple repair for a silversmith replace it with flatter stock if desired. |
