Classic vintage Taxco designer parure by noted maker whos mark is an AE in a heart-shaped M. Made in the style of Los Castillo and Margot de Taxco circa 1950-60's, consisting of matched sterling necklace, bracelet and earrings. The natural purple amethyst cabachons are 3/8 inches. The bracelet's wearable size is 7 3/4 x 1 1/8 inches, having seven amethysts. The necklace is a generous 17 1/2 x 1 inches with nice amethysts. The matching clip earrings are 7/8 x 7/8. All pieces in fine vintage condition. Marked on the bracelet A E in a heart shaped M, eagle 23; on the necklace Sterling Mexico; marks worn off of the earrings. |
