Be Sure to See Our Impressive Collection of Taxco, Danish, Arts and Crafts and Other Vintage Silver Jewelry! Elegant, timeless sterling and obsidian Antonio Pineda design necklace that is similar to our Antonio Pineda necklace PIN0114NEB. Though not marked by Pineda, it was likely crafted by one of his deciples as this is not a common motif. It required both a high level of silver and lapidary mastery. Very dimensional thick foliate sterling links cradle the shimmery obsidians. The connector links on the back were primarily used by Pineda. Measures 15 inches long x 3/4 wide. Weighs 112 grams. Excellent vintage condition. Made in Taxco post-1978, it is marked "MEXICO, TS-51, 925", which is listed in Bille Hogart's book of marks. |
