Exceptionally long 28 inch (Thats right... 28 inch!) vintage LOS CASTILLO Sterling wings motif necklace with matching 980 silver bracelet. This is an early 1940's set having the old style block lettering marks. Overall dimentions of the necklace is 28 inches long x 1 3/8 inches wide. Weighs 171.2 grams! Excellent vintage condition, great patina. Marked LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 187. The matching bracelet is made of 980 silver (higher than sterling) and has a slightly darker patina. It is marked 980 LOS CASTILLO TAXCO, 187B, MADE IN MEXICO. It measures 7 x 1 1/4 inches has a replaced clasp, and a safety chain. weight 42.8 grams.
