Once of the most recognizable and often copied designs from the golden age of Taxco jewelry. Ana Maria Nunez de Brilanti's ( Victoria ) sterling shadow-box angels necklace, bracelet and earring parure set. This is the rarer "square" version of the design.
Hand-made circa 1950's-60's, the set includes a bracelet measuring 7 1/4 inches closed x 5/8 wide. The necklace measures a nice 15 1/4 x 5/8 inches closed. The screwback earrings are 3/4 x 5/8. All are properly marked Victoria, Taxco, Mexico, 53, Sterling, and have the Gov't eagle mark. This is a heavy, well made set. A must have in any serious collection. |
