Striking, vintage modernistic sterling and obsidian set made circa by the one and only Enrique Ledesma. Circa 1960's Taxco, Mexico. The shimmering obsidian is black with a silvery luminescence when held at an angle. The construction, finish and fit of the stones to the silver is flawless as only Ledesdma could accomplish.
The necklace has a wearable length of 15 inches long x 1/2 wide. The matching bracelet is 7 inches long x 1/2 wide. The necklace is marked 925, Taxco,Ledesma,268; same marks on the bracelet except it is numbered 269. Condition is excellent. This set will go with anything! |
