| This Hand Colored and Framed Engraving of an Odontoglossum Orchid is Plate #3955 from William Curtis' Botanical Magazine dtd. 1842. This authentic antique print of an Orchid was beautifully illustrated by Walter Hood Fitch (1817-1892), that periodical's most prolific illustrator. This Octavo (6" x 9.75") plate is museum mounted and triple matted with museum rag matboard. The framing has Tru-Vue conservation clear glass and an antiqued gold leaf moulding measuring 17" x 21".
