This is an antique shaman's mask from Nepal carved in hardwood, with a lustrous brown/black patina and holes for attachment. The protruding forehead, oval eyes and open mouth showing teeth combine to create a compelling expression. Height: 26.5 cm, width: 20 cm. It is estimated to date to the early 20th century or earlier and shows encrustation consistent with its age.

This is an antique bronze seal stamp from Tibet or Bhutan, depicting a snow lion. It measures 1 inch by 1 inch and 1 1/2 inches in height. These kind of stamps were used by officials to seal letters and other important documents with a personal wax imprint. For the last 100 years the snow lion has been the national emblem of Tibet, appearing on coins, post stamps, banknotes and the national flag.
