Nice 19th century abstract green swirl Peking glass snuff bottle. Blanks for these were traditionally made in Shandong Province so the glass is called Shandong glass. Fun newer glass top with no spoon. Flat ovoid form 8 cm high with top. Hard to find any genuine Chinese quality antique at this price.
Rare antique snuff bottle of Peking glass simulating moss agate and with an interesting surface. Peking glass was used to simulate all kinds of materials. And this is an exceptionally successful rendition of moss agate. Later top, well matched with composite spoon. Late 19th century to early Republic, about 100 years old.
Note, I replaced the composite top with a simulated pearl top with spoon, see the last 2 pictures...
An antique Tonghzi mark porcelain snuff bottle with fishermen in famille rose paintings and foo lion (dog) handles. Wonderful miniature expressive figures. Fun horizontal form with simulated pearl finial top and nice composite spoon neatly done. Late 19th century and of the period.
2.5" wide and 2.25" high. Very good condition with no cracks lines or repairs. Slight wear to enamel.
An antique celadon jade snuff bottle fully hollowed out in rectangular form. Note the detail picture showing the light coming through the bottom of the snuff bottle looking down into the mouth. So thin it is almost a floater. Fully carved footrim. 18th century, Qianlong or early Jiaqing period celadon jade bottle. Later stopper finial is a cultured pearl over red composite.
2.6" high, 1.8" wide by 1" deep. Very good condition with no flaking or damage or repair...
扬洲套料鼻烟壶 清中期. An Daoguang period Yangzhou pink overlay snuff bottle with unusual detail and subject matter. The pink glass overlaid on white was finely carved to show 2 boys at a game and 2 birds perhaps in a mating dance. Bats frame the composition. The pink was carved thicker at the top of the bottle, progressively thinner to the bottom to yield a transition from dark to lighter hue...
Rare Guangxu Tongzhi period Peking overlay glass snuff bottle blank, no mark. Green over white and well hollowed out and before carving. The inner rim has been already smoothed down. This is old Shangtong overlay glass originally shipped to the imperial workshops or private shops to be carved by lapidary craftsmen. This one was one of the last remainder from an alley shop in the 1970s. They were treasured in the 1920s and again in the 70s-80s, to be used by the old master carvers...
Fine Daoguan Tongzhi period blue and white cylindrical snuff bottle with a delicately painted monkey riding a galloping horse; a scene of the Monkey King from the Tales of the Western Journey. An older 19th century snuff bottle with rolled mouth rim with a circle and circles both outside and inside the footrim. Excellent quality biscuit and glaze. Nice shaped green top with finial.
2.5" high and 1" diameter. Very good condition with a flake on the footrim, no lines or repairs...
Fine Jiaqing Daoguang period ruby red snuff bottle, Peking glass likely from imperial workshops. It is exquisite with panels on all 4 sides and each is dimpled or concave, a very desirable feature. Exceptionally delicate thin footrim not found on later bottles. Carnelian top and silver spoon.
2.5" high, 1.4" wide and 0.7" deep. Fine condition with no flakes chips or repairs. In the pictures, the lines are reflections, not problems on the bottle.
Fine Guangxu period ovoid snuff bottle of jasper hard stone with glints of crystal. No marks. Jade button top with silver spoon. Well hollowed and translucent in the sunlight. Nice oval foot.
2.3" high by 1.5" wide. Very good condition no damage. Nice touch in the hand.
Qianlong imperial workshop ruby red peking glass round snuff bottle with bats, chilongs and a "longevity" (shou) character medallion. All 3 are symbols of longevity. These little chilongs (pi-hu)on the shoulders are rare (usually taotie masks)...
A fine antique snuff bottle in tapered cylindrical form with underglazed copper red figure and blue rings. High quality porcelain and glaze. Underglazed blue ring or circle at the rolled rim and just above the foot. Also an ivory top with a long bone spoon. Early 19th century Qing era.
3.5" high to finial top. Porcelain in very good condition with slight roughness at footrim but no chips. A nice unusual antique bottle.

A sweet ovoid shape peking glass snuff bottle simulating green jadeite. Well hollowed with carnelian top. Qing dynasty.
About 3" high, good condition.
A fine example of the high quality which can be achieved in blue and white snuff bottles. Fun decoration of a "hu-ren" (tribal man) groom presenting a donkey to a couple of Chinese in Ming dynasty garb. Wonderful expression on the groom and the donkey. Fine porcelain biscuit. Mark of Yongzhen but 19th century for sure. Nice carnelian top of good color and translucency. Very nice detail.

A period Qianlong imperial workshop lapis snuff bottle of graceful flat form, well hollowed (and with some snuff inside). This is old lapis lazuli with fine texture with gold flecks and detail which is not found today. The elegant smooth surface shows off the visual texture of the stone. Pink granite top with a pearl. (18th century).
About 2.3" by 1.5"; a couple of tiny flakes along rim, no breaks or lines. Very good condition.
