A set of 6 Mason's ironstone dinner plates. The lovely flowers including large peony blossoms are mostly in a soft blue palette with yellow and red as well. The pattern is called Strathmore and it is in blue which is the more desirable color. Mason's "England" (early) mark as shown. Dates to 1910-20s.
About 10 1/2"" diameter. Condition very good considering age, lightly used and not abused. Enamels in good condition and very good colors. There is glaze crackle normal to this age. This is an antique set not recent production. A very pretty set of 6 antique Mason's ironstone full size dinner plates in a favorite pattern and with wonderful form. Please be sure to see my other listing for soup plates and cups/saucers in this pattern.
