A lovely set of 6 Mason's ironstone lunch plates. The flowers including large peony blossoms are mostly in a soft blue palette, with yellow and red as well. The pattern is called Strathmore and it is in blue which is the more desirable color. Mason's mark as shown. Dates to 1910-20s.
8.2" diameter. No chips or cracks or repairs; lightly used but not abused. Enamels in good condition and very good colors. This is an antique set not recent production. There is glaze crackle normal to this age. A very pretty set of 6 antique Mason's ironstone lunch plates in a favorite pattern. I have other items: dinner plates, cups & saucers, soup plates etc. in this pattern.
