A really big cup with liner. To really wake up in the morning, or maybe for soup? Decoration is a wonderful faience colored tulip. Old crown mark of K&G Luneville from the 1920s or earlier on the liner. Pink trim all around... so very continental. The Luneville pink was made by doping the color enamel with gold. The result is this gorgeous pink.
Cup 4.7" diameter, 2.5" high to finial. Liner 5.5" diameter. Very good condition with no chips or cracks or repairs. Normal glaze crackle for old French faience. Email if you have questions. This is one unusual and pretty hard to find old faience set. |
