A sweet famille rose or jaune antique Chinese enamel teapot with central lotus blossoms on both sides and a cute finial. Neat finial on the lid. This is a famous 18th century form and theme for an individual teapot. The seal mark is Ch'ien Lung (Qianlong). But this one was made somewhere 1890-1920s in other words late Ch'ing or Early Republic of China (1911-1930s). The enamels are fresh and thick. The dark tea stain inside the spout testifies to the age.
5.7" spout to handle; 3.5" high to finial. Very good condition with no chips or hairlines or repairs.
A classic form and imperial yellow color, nice antique Chinese enamel teapot.
