A beautiful antique Staffordshire moon vase with big flowers done in the Kakiemon style. Wonderful hand decoration and lots of gold. The enamels colors are soft and the gold stem details are thick like with moriage. There is also a nice gold dusting effect. Vase is about 120-150 years old. A partial paper tag says "Moore..." There was a Moore Brothers in Staffordshire 1876-1905 (Kovel Porcelain Marks book).
9.8" high by 8.8" diameter. Nice form flatten round with 4 cute little feet plus a well ruffled rim and large bamboo ring handles. No chips or hairlines very good condition some wear on gold. This is an unusual antique Staffordshire colors are subtle but it stands out from the crowd.
