| This is just Absolutely Fantastic! We have never in our lives seen this particular brooch before, it is Wonderful! The non-use of sterling silver would date this directly prior to WWII, c. 1939-1941. Guaranteed to test for Bakelite (not lucite). Depicting a Large Wonderful Figural Seal that is balancing a Bakelite ball on his nose with black enamel for his whiskers and green rhinestone eye on a very thick gold plated base metal foundation for a Flat out Fabulous display, We Love It! Reminds us of the Trifari Jelly Belly's. Notice how well it is made with the Apple Juice Bakelite Ball being drilled in order to securely keep it attached, very nice! Measures a Large 3.75 inches wide. Condition... There is minor gold loss to the base metal showing a rhodium silver base metal under it, This is not extreme at all but noted. Otherwise it is in SUPERB vintage condition with no enamel loss, no scratches to the Bakelite or no structural damage. He is Charming, Rare and Fantastic!
