This beautiful set of native-made, high karat gold earrings (94.92HD) is from Afghanistan. Noted as heirloom jewelry items, they date from the 19th to early 20th century. The drop, not counting the ear loops, is about 1 7/8” long. The blue ‘gem’ is glass. The gold measures above 14K using a standard jeweler’s acid kit.
