Richard Wise, noted northeastern goldsmith and author of the recent SECRETS OF THE GEM TRADE, made this fine 14K gold custom ring (96.1107HD) centered with a late 19th to early 20th century bloodstone intaglio depicting either Victory (note the wings) or possibly Neptune (note the trident and what appears to be a couple of fish in his left hand).
