Made up of 137 obsidian projectile points, all found in the state of Jalisco in West Mexico, the points are mostly in very good condition with no restoration, but some do have the typical marks of usage (tip dings, small chips, roughness, etc.)...

From the Sinu horizon of Colombia and dating c.400-1600AD, each of the 30 carved shell pendants or beads in this group (94.183HD) have been reinforced with a custom silver brace to protect it from damage. Ranging in length from 2 ¾” to 3 5/8”, all 30 beads could be arranged on a necklace, or used individually or in small groups in pendant arrays, the patterns of which are limited only by the beader’s imagination. This 8 ½” tall, geometrically painted, ancient polychrome ceramic jar (GLC483) is from the Gene Lang collection. Intact with a small rim chip and significant loss of paint, the bowl shows nicely from one side, and poorly from the other. Lang identified this as a Banshan type from the Gansu-Yang culture dating c.2655-2330BC. The loss of paint could be corrected with professional restoration...
