Made and cut out in 3” circles from 16-18K hammered sheet gold, this beautifully decorated pair (102.116HD) of matched Precolumbian bangles is attributed to the Chimu horizon of Peru, c.1000-1400AD. In excellent condition with some minor wrinkling and bending, the Precolumbian native goldsmith decorated the museum quality set by utilizing the repoussee technique. The center image is a bird framed by sun-like and feathered rays, around which are two encircling rows of designs...

The late Lynn Langdon found the three Pre-Columbian ceramics in this lot (LLL567-677-687) in West Mexico in the mid-20th century. Intact and in overall very good to excellent condition with a couple of small rim chips to 677 and 687, the incised teardrop censer is 3 ½” tall, the polychrome jar 4 ¾” tall, and the bichrome bowl 4 ¾” wide. Langdon assigned the pieces to the Jalisco and Nayarit groups dating them c.300BC-600AD. The price shown buys all three of the pottery pieces together...

Here’s an old friend that’s come back home for re-sale….for awhile anyway! This 22” necklace (PBF201) is made up of assorted Pre-Columbian ceramic, shell, greenstone and gold beads, all found in the Narino area of Colombia during the mid-20th century and dating into the Capuli Period, c.900-1400AD. This translucent green glass amulet (102.6HD) was found in Lebanon and dates into the Roman Period, c.100BC-100AD. 7/8” in length, the amulet is embossed in the center of its disk with what appears to be either the torso of a person or god (although it’s impossible to be sure).
