My best guess is that this group of Pre-Columbian artifacts (LLL1026) was probably once assembled to represent a model temple. Found together at one site in the deep shaft tomb area of West Mexico in the mid-20th century by the late Lynn Langdon, most of the stone items, made of greenish-gray argillite, along with the carved mother of pearl shell strips, have remnants of what appears to be some sort of binding adhesive that held the entire group together...
