A wide 14” in diameter, and relatively deep 5” make this bowl (GL544) pretty tough to put on a narrow shelf! From the collection of the late Gene Lang of Denver, he typed the bowl as a Gila Redware dating c.1300-1350+ and attributed it to the Salado group.
