This is the sixth page of individually priced relics from the MAB collection illustrating another group of ancient Roman toga pins or fibulas in the $50-$80 range (MAB 27, 35, 36, 39, 45B, 47, 53, 55, 93, 97, 98 and 100). An assortment of bronze and iron types, with some decorated and others not, in a range of conditions, this popular artifact easily lends itself to specialized collecting due to the tremendous variety that have survived the ages. Although the diverse MAB collection will take a few months to be completely listed, you can view any items added since your last visit by simply typing MAB into the search link appearing on any of our pages. Please note that though some of the pins can probably be safely adapted for wear, the buyer assumes all risk of damage and loss resulting from any attempt at restoration and/or wear. Each photo in this group shows first our inventory number in brackets followed by a brief description, and then a grade estimate (1-10). Next comes the cultural affiliation, approximate period, material, the stated dimension in inches, information concerning condition, and finally the price. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number prefixed by MAB as shown on its photograph. Each item purchased comes with our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. And, if requested, an extensive list of available reference books for sale from the library of the original owner will be included with a purchase. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, Jewelry, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
