Assorted New Guinea and Thai Cultural Art
This colorful and striking group of twelve offers 11 items (RFM 63-69, & 71-74) collected at tribal villages along the Sepik River in New Guinea in the mid-1980s and one piece (RFM 70) purchased at an ethnographic shop along the 'Khlong' River in Bangkok, Thailand in the same period. From a Denver area collection, all the New Guinea pieces were appraised and certified in July of 2007 by a local member of the American Society of Appraisers, copy of which will be provided to the buyer. The prices that are shown on each item's photo reflects the appraiser's evaluation (and the owner will consider offers). All of the items are available for inspection. Each item comes with a display card, a biographical sketch about the collection from which it came, our certificate guaranteeing authenticity, and a copy of the 2007 appraisal. Select or ask any question by referring either to the Trocadero ITEM # or the STOCK # at the top of this page, and ALSO to the item’s INVENTORY NUMBER as shown in the brackets on its photo. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our popular 'TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have up to twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
