See Each Photo for Price
All but one of the individually priced items in this group (MAB 254A-D, 255-259, and 261) are from Central or South America. The odd set consists of four prehistoric Native American greenstone celts from DeKalb County, TN. The 'south of the border' items are: a Jalisco mother cradling a baby; a Jalisco seated young girl; a Pre-Classic hollow head from a large clay figurine; a Chiriquí rattle-leg tripod with zoomorphic elements; a large copper tumi from Peru or Ecuador; and a Classic Mayan jadeite celt. Individually priced from $85 to $750, each photo lists first the item inventory number in brackets, followed by a brief description, a number in brackets representing that relic's grade (1-10 with 10 being top), approximate date, provenience, condition, collection from which the piece came (if known), and finally the price. Each item comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about the collector when known, a map high-lighting the general area in which it was found, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. Select or ask any question by referring either to the Trocadero ITEM # or the STOCK # (MAB.Z1) at the top of this page, PLUS the item’s INVENTORY NUMBER as shown in brackets to the left of its description. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
