This group (JEP.NAI.C) is made up of nine pages (JEP 10, 11, 12, 15, 28, 43, 70, 72 and 80) of Indian stone artifacts (except for two shell carvings) ranging in age from Pre-Historic to Early Historic, each from the estate of the late Walt Lewin..An extra frame photo is included that shows how Lewin displayed the artifacts. The front and back of each artifact is shown in its grouping, along with its individual reference number on an attached small circular label. The height in inches of the tallest artifact in each group is noted below one of its two photos and can be used to estimate the size of any others on that page. Each artifact is available at the price shown above it. If a buyer is interested in the entire group on an individual page, the total price shown for that group is much reduced from the price that would result from adding them up individually. Walt was from Casper, Wyoming, and collected and hunted artifacts mostly in Wyoming and the surrounding States. Unfortunately, he did not keep a record of where the artifacts were either found or otherwise acquired. Each page shows first our number in brackets for the group on that page (JEP 15, etc) followed by a descriptive heading, then the different JEP numbers included in the group, the measurement of the largest in the group, general condition of the group artifacts and a range of their grade based on condition and finally, the reduced price listed for all. Ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero page number or item number, and then to our group Inventory Number shown in brackets on the photo. If an individual point is of interest, include that number also. The group comes in a bubble wrap envelope along with a descriptive card (if wanted, a Riker-style frame can be ordered from us separately to hold the group), a biographical sketch about Lewin, and our certificate guaranteeing that the artifacts are as described. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit browsing time, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have multiple items on one page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
