Indian Artifacts, Lewin Collection – Group F
This group of Indian artifacts from the Lewin collection (JEP 520, 522, 524, 528, 529, 531, 534, 535, 536, 539 and 541) includes a stone pipe, hide flesher, shaft straighteners, historic period handled jar, mortar and pestle, arrowheads, a pipe bowl ‘geofact’ and more. The size in inches of the largest artifact in each group is noted on its photo to allow the viewer to make an estimate of size of any others in that photo. Walt was from Casper, Wyoming, hunting artifacts mostly in Wyoming and the surrounding States. When Walt left information concerning the location at which an artifact was found it is noted. Each page shows first our number in brackets for the group on that page. Next a short descriptive heading, then the measurement of the largest in the group, general condition of that group along with their grade based on condition, and finally the price. Ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero page number or item number, and then to our group Inventory Number shown in brackets on the photo. If an individual point is of interest, include that number also. The group comes with a descriptive card, a biographical sketch about Lewin, and our certificate guaranteeing that the artifacts are authentic. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and limit your browsing time, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have multiple items on one page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
