Was $6,000 each, or the pair for $9,000....NOW $5,000 each, the pair for $7,000 (or make offer)

This great pair of Paleo Clovis Points (RLK.7 and RLK.8), dating c.13,000 – 10,000 BP, was purchased by the current owner from the late Calvin Howard, known world-wide for his accuracy in artifact authentication. Measuring 3 7/16” and 3 13/16” in length, the writer grades both of the points at a 9+ grade with no significant chips or dings. Made from the attractive Payson chert, which is found in outcrop on the east side of the Mississippi River in Adams County, Illinois, one point comes without specific provenance concerning the exact location found, or the name of the finder, while the other is noted on the also reputable Jackson cert to have been found in Rock Island County, Illinois and was originally from the Ritter collection. The current owner is selling each point for $6,000.00 or the pair at the special price of $9,000.00. Included in the photos are examples of raw Payson chert as found on outcrop, and a couple of pics of Calvin holding up the points, one in each hand, with a truly happy grin. Both of the points are presented in Riker-style, glass-fronted frames and come with the associated original certificates, a map of the state hi-lighting Adams County, and at least one of the samples of the Payson Chert shown in the photos.
