The eleven heavy bronze coins and one heavy billon coin in this group (92.201BHD, 92.203AHD, 95.137HD, 95.144HD, 95.188HD, 96.114EHD, 97.159HD, 97.174HD, 97.177HD, 97.180HD, 99.5HD, and 99.8HD) are all ancient Roman dating between 138A.D. to 253A.D. Included in this group are mints of Antoninus Pius, Caracalla, Commodus, Faustina Jr., Faustina Sr., Gordian III, Julia Mamaea, Lucius Verus, Philip I 'The Arab', Maximinus, Severus Alexander, and Trebonianus Gallus. The coins have undergone varying degrees of circulation with the amount of wear evident in each of the photos. Each photo is marked with first the coin's Inventory Number in brackets, and then the culture and coin type followed by name of the ruler or area from which it came, the date, a description of the images on the obverse and reverse sides, any additional comments, and finally the price. A millimeter scale is located at the top of each photo. Select or ask any question by first referring to the Trocadero Number on this page, and then the inventory number shown on the given photograph. Any that have been sold will be so-marked on the appropriate photo. Each coin comes with our certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
