Twelve Old World Antiquities: Group A

Each of the individually priced Old World antiquities in this group of twelve (97.289HD; 100.57BE, 182C, & 38AHD; 101.8AAHD; 102.8HD; AXH 1916-1918, 2345, & 2459) is either mounted with soluble glue, a string, or stapled in a small mylar bag to its own display card. A brief description of the item is followed by its price, along with its unique number. Represented are: ancient Roman bone Astragali (a form of dice utilitizing the ankle bone of a sheep); ancient Sassanian ring seals; Roman glass amulet; a Sumerian amulet; a Neolithic ‘bille’ found in Mauritania; a Roman bone arrowhead; and an ancient jasper cylinder seal from Afghanistan. Five of the pieces are from the Dr. Allen Heflin collection, the balance from other collections and dealers. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number shown on the given photograph. An intriguing assortment, each piece comes on its own card with our guarantee of authenticity, a location map, and, when known, a biographical sketch about the previous owner. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced!
