The relic coins in this group of twelve (6.88HJ, 57.88HJ, 62.88HJ, 74.88HJ, 77.88HJ, 98.88HJ, 107.88HJ, 114.88HJ, 69.91HJ and FP1169) were mostly found by yours truly during many years of hunting the abandoned trails and ghosted towns of the west. Never did find that pot of gold that I know is out there somewhere, but in the course of those many never-to-be-forgotten trips, over 200 assorted coins were found, along with a whole basement and garage full of assorted other ‘treasures’ that have been selling off through the years. The coins in this group, each shown and priced individually consist of nickels and dimes, with the earliest dated 1857 and the latest 1892 (there is one Canadian token with unkown provenance dated 1813 that was purchased out of a collection), all from the towns of Carbon, Old Rouse, Mosquito, Terrace, Mudsill and Weston located in Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah. Each coin comes with description of the type, date, location where found, and its unique inventory number. Remember, these are relic coins, not for the purist numismatic collector, but rather for the individual who enjoys holding not only the coin, but also reliving a bit of the history of the West. Each coin comes with a map of the state in which it was found with the location of the site highlighted. Select or ask any question by first referring to the Trocadero Number on this page, and then the inventory number shown on the given photograph. Any that have been sold will be so-marked on the appropriate photo. Each coin comes with our certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
