Twelve Stone Relic Lots, W. Mexico: Group 1
This group of twelve contains assorted lots of stone relics (LLL732R2N2C, R3N1B, 1E and 1F; 757R2N3B; 1207 C, D, E, i and J; and 1209G), all found by the late Lynn Langdon in the deep shaft tomb area of West Mexico during the mid-20th century. Lynn’s diverse and interesting collection is herein offered on many pages, and there’s still more to come! The following types will be found in this group of twelve: complex bead types, flake knife blade holders, greenstone pendants, stone ‘buttons’, a probable stamp seal pendant, a turbaned head pendant, a few damaged lots, but most classed as very good to excellent. Note that a millimeter scale appears on the left side of each photo to assist with size determination. Each photo is annotated with first the inventory number of the pictured item or items, a brief description followed by the age and provenance, brief description of rock types, comments concerning condition, and finally the price. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number shown on the given photograph. Each lot comes with a descriptive card, a map highlighting the area in which the pieces in the lot were found, a biographical sketch about Langdon and his collection, and finally, our certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
