Twelve Ancient Roman Bronze Coins: Group S
Each of the twelve individually priced bronze coins in this group (95.133, 134, 145 & 146HD; 96.114X, 1072 & 1079HD; 97.153, 166 & 183HD; FP1146, and FP1206C) is ancient Roman in origin. Representing a span of time from 137-354AD, the different coin types are: AE 25 & 30, follis, sestertius, antoninianus, and centenionalis. The individual coins commemorate: Caracalla, Carus, Commodus, Gallerius, Gordian, Julia Domna, Philip I, Sabrina, Septimus Severus, Severus Alexander, and Trebonius Gallus. Prices for the coins in this group range from $95 to $175. Each photo shows first our inventory number in brackets followed by the coin type. Next is shown the commemorated person, the dates of reign or passing, the image on the obverse side, the image on the reverse side, occasional reference to mintage and condition. The last entry is the price. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number shown on the given photograph. Each coin comes with our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
