Twelve Assorted Pre-columbian Items: Group 1
This group of twelve (97.44BHD; AXH1188, 1429R4N1, 1403R2N1, 1455R1N1, 1870, & 2531; EJW93; LLL776, 801, & 1203Q) contains items previously listed but herein reduced in price. Included are stone, clay, shell and textile. Types include: axe, whorls, effigy maul, celt, shaman rattle, mold, and a candelario or personal incensario. Most of the pieces originated in Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, and Bolivia and are from the Heflin, Langdon, Howe, and Leutze collections. A diverse assortment priced from $10-$250. Each photo lists first the item inventory number in brackets, a brief description, approximate date, provenience, condition, collection from which the piece came (if known), and finally the price. Each piece comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about the collector when known, a map highlighting the area in which the artifact was found, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. Select or ask any question by referring either to the Trocadero ITEM # or the STOCK # at the top of this page, and ALSO to the item’s INVENTORY NUMBER as shown in the brackets on its photo. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
