|Here’s another fine example of the restoration work done by the late Gene Lang of Denver. Measuring 7 ½” in width and 5 ½” in height, this prehistoric Native American bowl (JBB6) has been glued together from about 20 pieces, painted primarily across restored clay surfaces (about 10-15% of the bowl) where shards were missing, and along the surface of any filled crack. The areas of repair can be easily seen through the mouth of the bowl. The seed bowl comes with a small display card, our guarantee of authenticity, a grapevine wreath upon which to set the bowl, a release certificate declaring the bowl was found on private lands, a map of New Mexico highlighting the Williams Ranch area, a biographical sketch about Gene Lang, and copies of a few pages from a published document about the Williams Ranch site. Ask any question by referring either to the Trocadero ITEM # or the STOCK # at the top of this page. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. This will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually described and priced! And if you want to further refine a group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.|
