Twelve Pre-columbian Obsidian Relics: Heflin Group C

From the Dr. Allen Heflin collection, this group of twelve Pre-Columbian obsidian amulets, ornaments, protective fetishes and miscellaneous artifacts (AXH224.12, AXH224.19, AXH225.B, AXH234.R2N6, AXH234.R2N8, AXH234.R3N5, AXH234.R5N8, AXH234.R6N4, AXH234.R6N8 and AXH234.R6N15) were all found in the West Mexican states of Jalisco and Sayula, the Aztec site of Xico, the great city of Teotihuacan, and in the Valley of Mexico. In overall good condition and easily adapted for contemporary wear, each piece comes Elmer-glued to a small cardboard backed card that can be removed with a quick soak (take care in removing any glue from the back as the white paint marking the location and date found that was placed there by Heflin could be accidentally removed). Ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number shown in the given photograph. Each artifact comes with a biographical sketch about Heflin, a map of Mexico showing the location where the artifact was found, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings while limiting your browsing time, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the single word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
